Who we are

We are a family-run driveway and landscaping firm based at 44 High Street in Sutton Coldfield. The business is owned and run by Gary, who started laying block paving and designing gardens across the West Midlands more than 30 years ago and still attends every quote in person.

We work across Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield, Birmingham and the surrounding towns. Our installers are PAYE staff, not subcontractors, and we use our own diggers, tippers and rollers so the schedule and the standard of work stay under our control.

Meet Gary

Gary started in landscaping straight out of school. By his mid-twenties he had spent enough years on driveway crews to know what a properly built sub-base looks like and what a corner-cutting one looks like, and he set up All Seasons to do the former, every job, every time.

Three decades later he is still on the tools more days than he is not. He attends every quote personally because the on-site visit is where the design decisions are made: where the water needs to go, where the falls have to run, whether a wall will need reinforcement, whether the existing surface can be reused, what materials will suit the property. That conversation does not delegate well, so it does not get delegated.

The team that quotes the work is the team that delivers it. Most of our installers have been with us for years; several have served full apprenticeships under Gary and are now lead hands on their own crews. The office is in Sutton Coldfield, our yard and machinery is in Sutton Coldfield, and the people who turn up on day one are the same people you see at sign-off.

How we work

Gary attends every quote. Not an estimator, not a salesperson. The person quoting the work is the person responsible for delivering it.
PAYE staff, not subcontractors. The same team turns up on day one and stays through to sign-off. We never use day-rate subcontractors for residential driveways or gardens.
Our own machinery. Diggers, tippers, rollers, vibrating plate compactors, surface jet wash equipment, drain jetting equipment and concrete mixers all owned and maintained in-house. We do not pay hire rates or wait for hire-yard availability.
British Standard build-up. Sub-base, edge restraint, drainage and laying course detailed to the relevant British Standards on every driveway. We send you the build-up photographs at handover so you have a record.
Insured. Public liability and employer’s liability cover. Certificates available on request before any work starts on site.
Guaranteed. A 10-year written guarantee on workmanship and hard landscaping. Named, dated and signed at handover.

What we do

Driveway installation: block paving, resin-bound, tarmac, gravel.
Landscaping and garden design: patios, levelling, sleeper walls, planting, drainage.
Jet washing and maintenance: driveway and patio cleaning, drain jetting.
Security posts and bollards, including 48-hour emergency fitting after a vehicle theft.

What we do not do

We do not run a maintenance round (weekly grass-cutting, weekly tidy-ups).
We do not do internal building work, kitchen extensions or conservatories.
We do not do tree felling. We refer to a qualified local arborist instead.
We do not subcontract to other firms. If it is not our team, it is not our job.

Why we are still here after 30+ years

Most of our work comes from referrals. People in Sutton Coldfield know other people in Sutton Coldfield. If a job goes wrong, every neighbour and street WhatsApp group hears about it. We live and work in the area where our customers live and work, so we behave accordingly.

We are not the cheapest. We are also not the most expensive. We sit in the middle of the market for the West Midlands and we are explicit about what is in our price (sub-base depth, edge restraint, drainage, kiln-dried sand, written guarantee) and what is not. If a cheaper quote skips any of those, we will tell you which corner is being cut.

Equipment

We own and maintain our own equipment so the schedule and the standard of work stay under our control. The fleet includes diggers, tipper trucks, vibrating rollers, plate compactors, surface jet wash equipment, drain jetting equipment, and concrete mixers.

This is one of the reasons we can offer 48-hour emergency security-post fitting after a vehicle theft. We are not waiting on a hire booking.
